Ain’t No Mountain High Enough!

The American author, John Steinbeck, once said “A journey is like a marriage. The certain way to be wrong is to think you control it.” We’ve sometimes felt that way about the journey our teas make when they leave us to be delivered to you. With this in mind we’ve recently spent a lot of time reviewing and overhauling delivery options for both UK and International customers to ensure we offer the easiest, most cost effective and convenient service.
UK Deliveries
We offer next day delivery on orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday. If you place an order on a Friday we’ll deliver on a Saturday, if that’s what you require, for a small surcharge of £2.00. It’s also worth adding that if for any reason you’ve missed the 3pm cut-off please pick up the phone and call us, we might still be able to help you receive your order the next day.
For most UK orders we use DPD tracked, next working day service. Occasionally should your address fall in either a remote area or your order is a small sample order, or you require a guaranteed service we may use another courier such as Royal Mail or DHL.
Knowing where your delivery actually is can be very helpful, so DPD, DHL Domestic and Royal Mail Tracked offer both e-mail and SMS text tracking. If we have these details from you we will enter them into the courier's tracking system so you can receive real time tracking information for your order. We also have an internal tracking process to make sure we know your order has been delivered to you. If we spot any delays or any issues with your order we'll be in touch with you as soon as possible to make sure you're aware and assist where needed.
If you’re based in Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or the Scottish Highlands & Islands you’re still in the United Kingdom and are entitled to the same service as everyone else. However, most couriers will only offer a 2 Day service so we will choose the courier with best option available to get your order to you as quickly as possible. One of our aims was to try and ensure all customers, no matter where they’re based, receive the same service.
International Deliveries
For international customers we’ve also been able to introduce some improvements on choice and increased clarity. We’ve expanded the range of shipping partners and now offer delivery from DPD, FedEx or DHL. We’ve also integrated our website directly with our courier partners so you can get real time, accurate shipping costs at the time of booking. It’s important to us, and to you, that you know just how much an order is going to cost to ship.
Additionally, if more than one courier can deliver to you we’ll show you all delivery quotes and you can decide which to use. It’s also worth pointing out that we don’t make any money on shipping, the price you see is the cost price to us.
Logistics, whether international or domestic, also benefit from JenFresh packaging. Jenfresh was developed to ensure that tea is as fresh as it can be. However one of the great side-benefits of that is it’s also as compact and light as it can be too, ensuring the most cost-effective delivery fees.
Finally, no matter where in the world you are, we deliver samples free of charge. As long as the samples will fit in a Royal Mail International Large Letter we’ll send them to you. Don’t worry if you don’t know how large that is, our website will tell you if your order fits.
Like most companies we can’t fully control deliveries, but we have spent considerable time choosing the most suitable delivery partners we can, allowing you greater choice, transparency and efficiency.
