Pu-Erh Tea Cakes

As Pu-Erh Cakes are complete cakes, we do not routinely offer wholesale Pu-Erh Cake samples, but if you would like to talk to us about acquiring samples, please get in touch.

There are two types of Pu-Erh Tea Cakes, Raw Pu-erh (Sheng Puerh) which are made using the traditional method where the teas are aged and fermented for more than 5 - 10 years and Ripe (or Cooked) Pu-Erh (Shu Puerh) which uses a modern method developed in the 1970's whereby the aging process is speeded up by adding water that has been rinsed through Pu-erh tea. The Pu-Erh cakes in our range are all Ripened Pu-Erhs.
