Gynostemma, when brewed as a tea, has a delicate vegetative herbal taste with a natural sweetness and soft astringency and is not sour or bitter. Also known as Jiaogulan, this caffeine-free herb has been used for its reported health benefits for many years.

  • Water: Use freshly filtered, boiling water. Pour over leaves.
  • Brewing Time: 6 – 8 minutes; we prefer 8 minutes for full flavour.
  • Milk & Sugar: We don't recommend adding milk. Add sugar, honey, or lemon to suit taste preferences.
