Samples

We ship samples up to a large letter weight FREE of charge anywhere in the world. If the weight of your order qualifies for Royal Mail International Large Letter delivery, you will see the option for free shipping appear at the checkout. If no free option is shown, this means that the items in your cart are over the allowed weight by Royal Mail. 

Duties & Taxes

Please note that all shipping fees do not include any duty or taxes you may be liable for at the point of import into your country. Please check with your local authorities before completing your order to see if you are allowed to import teas and tea wares from the UK. We also recommend you determine what (if any) taxes or duties you may be liable to pay for your order when importing from the UK. Jenier Ltd cannot be held responsible for any additional duties, taxes or local surcharges you may incur. Any orders returned to us because of failure to pay taxes, duties or surcharges requested by country authorities will not be liable for refund.

Cancellation Of Order (Prior To Dispatch)

Should you wish to cancel your order prior to your order being dispatched, please contact us as quickly as possible either by phone: +44(0)1505 800 797 or e-mail: info@jenierlocal.com. As our dispatch teams work quickly and always try to dispatch all orders received the same day (regardless of time), any request for cancellation of an order once dispatched, would need to be returned by you at your cost once received, as we would not be able to recall the order to us.

International Shipping - The Logistics.

When shipping internationally, we understand how important it is to get the best shipping rates possible for your products. International shipping is very much about the volumetrics of the consignment. For example, you could have a product that weighs 6kg but when packed in a box that it can fit in, the actual volumetric weight applied to the box by a courier is 12Kg - so you end up paying to ship air—an expensive process! So product packaging is key when planning for international shipping.

When considering how we package our teas, there were a few boxes we needed to tick. We needed environmentally friendly packaging that would keep teas fresh and remove most of the air to ensure we were shipping product and not air. So, using specialised materials, we developed our unique JenFresh packaging process and as a result, can ensure the best utilisation of packing space reducing shipping costs along with the carbon footprint of consignment.

Having an accurate shipping rate is key for you and for us too. We don't want to lose your custom because a shipping rate is inaccurate and we want to make sure we can pass on the best rates available for your location. That's why our website is linked directly into our courier's systems to provide you with real time shipping quotes to your specified address. We only charge the shipping rates at cost to us and where both carriers can deliver to your address we display both quotes for you to choose the best one for you - some carriers offer cheaper rates but on a slower service. Please note, all shipping rates do not include any duties, taxes or local charges. Where any are to be paid, our couriers will contact you directly prior to import but if you have any questions, please contact us and we'll be happy to help. We've shipped our products to over 34 countries so are happy to help you import to yours.

Sea Freight

If you require a price to ship as sea freight, please contact us and we will discuss your requirements and obtain up to date shipping freight options for you from our specialised Food Export sea freight partners, International Foodlink Ltd, www.intfoodlink.co.uk

If you already have your supply chain in place and simply require us to send to a UK freight forwarder, we can do this at our normal UK shipping rates.

Export Documentation

It is so important that you have all the required documentation to ensure the smooth import of your order, so before placing your order we would encourage you to check with your local Customs and Food Import Authorities what you are required to do and what documents you need to produce. If you are not sure what documentation you may require, please contact us and we'll be happy to help. We can provide Phytosanitary Certificates, UK Certificates of Origin, EUR1 Certificates, Certificates of Free Sale, Certificates of Conformity & Technical Data Specifications. Please note some certification will incur additional charges. For further information, please contact us and we'll be happy to go through your requirements.

Product Returns

We want you to be happy with the products you purchase from us, but understand that sometimes there may be circumstances when you'd like to or need to return them to us. Below are various explanations of how we handle returns in the context of UK Law, but please, do not hesitate to pick up the phone and call us to discuss your situation as we really do care and want your experience buying from Jenier  to be as hassle free as possible.

Damaged or Defective Products

We strive to maintain high quality production across all our product lines. However, should you receive a product that is either damaged or you believe it to be defective in some way, please let us know as soon as possible but at the latest within 14 days of receipt. Depending on the nature of damage or defect we may ask you to return the items to us. Please do not return any faulty/defective items to us unless we have confirmed for you to do so as we may deem it not cost effective. On the receipt of (or acknowledgment of) damaged or defective goods we will offer to refund you in full for the product's purchased value and any shipping costs you may have incurred. We may offer to ship a replacement product should this be appropriate. 

Please note we are only able to accept returns from the original buyer and not any third party.
