The Platinum Jubilee Blend is a black tea blend created to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. In addition to the Balmoral Blend created for the Balmoral Estate in 2019, the Platinum Jubilee Blend will be served to visitors and sold at Balmoral Estate Visitor Enterprises. We wanted to maintain strong ties to Scottish tea history by using teas from China, Sri Lanka, and Assam (India) blended with flavourful leaves from Kenya's Nandi Highlands. To add a unique twist, we've subtly flavoured it with 100% natural bergamot oil, which has a more intense aroma than when infused. We also wanted to make a visually stunning tea worthy of such a special occasion, so we added blue, red, and white cornflowers, which add a brilliant burst of colour throughout the blend.
