Production
The blend production involves a combination of traditional and modern methods. First, the Rooibos leaves are harvested from the South African plant, Aspalathus Linearis, and are naturally fermented and sun-dried. They are then blended with the oil of the bergamot fruit to produce the distinctive, fragrant flavour of Earl Grey. This process retains the original taste and aroma of both Earl Grey and Rooibos tea, resulting in a distinctive blend.
Brewing
Preparing a cup of Earl Grey Rooibos is simple. Steep the loose leaves in boiling water for around 6–8 minutes, adjusting to taste. You can enjoy it as brewed or enhance it with milk, honey, or a slice of lemon. Its caffeine-free nature makes it an excellent herbal tea to enjoy any time of day without worrying about being kept awake.
