    I love a good cup of strong black tea, and this blend truly met my expectations. Furthermore, the aroma has surprising depth, with a malty flavor and subtle floral notes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cup of tea with a lot of character.

    I was looking for a really strong tea for an outdoor event that would brew quickly. Tries a few samples, but this one worked best. Great feedback from the crew and crowds!

  • Leaves: CTC Broken Orange Pekoe (BOP)/BP1 Broken Pekoe #1.
  • Latin/ Botanical Names: Camellia sinensis.
  • Grown: Nandi Highlands (Kenya), Assam (India), 500 - 6500 ft above sea level.
  • Aroma: Floral notes with complex depth.
  • Infused Colour: Bright and coppery.
  • Caffeine: Between 27- 35mg per 250 ml cup

   Serving Guide

  • Tea Menu: Very Popular
  • Per 250ml Cup: 1 heaped teaspoon (approx. 3g)
  • Water: Use freshly filtered, boiling water. Pour over leaves.
  • Brewing Time: 3 – 7 minutes; we prefer 5 minutes for full flavour.
  • Milk & Sugar: You can add milk, sugar, honey or lemon to suit taste preferences.
