The high-quality green tea leaves in Japanese Sencha Individually Wrapped Tea Bags are picked at their best in late spring. In the traditional way of making Japanese Sencha, the leaves are first steamed. This process helps the leaves keep their deep green colour. The leaves then go through a process of being shaped and dried, which gives them the unique flavour of Sencha green tea. The leaves are then put into different grades based on their quality and taste.

Great Taste of Green Tea

The taste of Japanese Sencha Green Tea is sophisticated and well-balanced. You'll taste a blend of sweet, slightly vegetal, and refreshing umami flavours that are interesting and satisfying to the taste buds. This flavour comes from the quality of the tea leaves, when they were picked, and how they were steamed. Customers say they like how the tea is bright green, has many antioxidants and has a rich flavour, which makes it a popular choice.

Bought this to go along with the new Earl Grey. Wasn't sure if guests would go for it, but the green tea is proving very popular. Not a green tea drinker myself, but told it's really good.
